Mc Bride fired!
About time!
Yes, it is true; Robert Mc Bride has been relieved of his duties as Ekurhuleni metro police chief.
According to IOL, the decision was taken yesterday at a council meeting headed by the municipality's new mayor, Ntombi Mekgwe.
Just this past week, Mc Bride was involved in yet another scandal when he defied his special leave orders and returned to work.
He was relieved of his duties just two months before his contract expires.
It has been nearly two years now since the whole drunk driving debacle. This in itself is absurd. We, the taxpayers have been forking out money to pay his salary. Well, come end November, this will be no more!
Good riddance Mc Bride!

He gets away with it because he is a 'struggle hero' yet really he just doesnt care once the money and power keeps coming in...will he be 70 and think the same thing?
